Random Thoughts

So, I have learned that all parts of the human body, no matter how useless now, are the products of evolution. What, I ask, is the purpose of ear hair? This thin fuzz that started growing on the outer region of my ears when I hit my 20's has now started sprouting out of my ear canal and it is an annoyance for two reasons. I look like a Chia Pet already with the undergrowth on the hair farm on top of my head. I don't need hair sprouting out of wacky places like my ears. The other reason is, my wife LOVES to yank them out. She will spot one and sneak up on me while I am sitting in the living room watching TV and unwinding after a hard day of work, latch on and before I can protest, I am on the floor reeling in pain because she not only took the hair, but part of my ear along with it (those things are deeply rooted).
While I am at it, the hair on my eyebrows is starting to look non-uniform as well. There are rebels in the patches above my eyes that are sprouting out gray and growing longer than the rest. I should feel grateful though, because I don't have back hair... and hopefully never will.
